Though you always have some artistic freedom, I was actually so lucky that there were two kids in bright pink playing on the roots of the tree while I was painting, so I could just paint things as they were, and the colors were still really interesting.
This one is much more purple after it has dried and I did paint it sitting in the shade, so I somehow just saw it being more blue when i painted, weirdly enough.
I haven't done much water color before, so I'm quite happy with them :D
